Draft for review. Not yet in effect. This text has not been reviewed by a lawyer and is not legal advice. Bracketed notes mark open questions.

What Banter is

Banter finds short moments in fantasy football podcasts and links you to them. We do not make the shows. The audio plays from the publisher, not from us. Banter keeps no copy for listeners.

Who can use it

You must be 13 or older to use Banter. You must be 18 or older to buy anything. [Open: card holder wording and age rules. Question 5.]

Not betting advice

Takes are opinions from podcast hosts. They are not advice, and nobody promises a result. Banter leaves out betting picks. Banter sells no ads and has no sportsbook links. (A publisher's own audio can carry its own ads.) Make your own lineup decisions. [Wording to be checked. Question 8.]

No affiliation

Banter is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NFL, any team, any fantasy platform (such as ESPN, Yahoo or Sleeper) or any podcast. Names are used only to say what they are. [Open: question 14.]

Season Pass and refunds

  • The Season Pass is a one-time purchase for one season. It does not renew by itself.
  • Presale: you get a full refund for any reason until week 4 of the 2027 NFL season.
  • If you cannot sign in with your Season Pass by kickoff of week 1 of the 2027 season, we refund you automatically.
  • The price is shown at checkout. Payment is handled by Stripe. We never see your card number.

[Open: the presale timing waits on the lawyer and accountant (#42). Refund terms and tax in questions 9 and 10.]

Acceptable use

  • Do not scrape Banter or load it with automated requests.
  • Do not get around limits or the person check.
  • Do not copy, re-host or resell the takes or the data on this site. [Open: questions 6 and 15.]
  • Keep your private digest link to yourself. Anyone with it can open your digest. [Open: question 15.]
  • Do not use Banter to break the law or to harass anyone.

[Open: the list needs a lawyer's pass. Question 15.]

Credit, podcasters and takedowns

Every take names its show and links to the full episode. Banter plays the publisher's original file. It does not re-host or proxy audio for listeners. Our pipeline downloads a temporary copy to index an episode and deletes it afterwards. [Open: question 6.] Podcasters can opt out at /creators/opt-out. When a show opts out, we aim to remove its takes within 24 hours. [Open: is a 24-hour promise safe? Question 3.]

Copyright complaints: [DMCA designated agent name, address and email to be added after registration. Question 4.]

Our responsibility

[Warranty disclaimer, limit of liability, governing law and where disputes are heard are to be written by a lawyer. Question 11.]

Changes to these terms

If we make a material change, we will email you and show the new effective date here. [Open: how the accepted version is stored at checkout (#166), and the notice method. Question 17.]
